What can I say… This place owns me.
It’s been some time since my previous trip to Bieszczady, the most mystique and wild mountants in Poland. There were times when I went there every year. Going there was a must on my calendar. Then something broke. Whether a branch broke under my foot or I slipped in the mud walking off the trail… I no longer needed to be there. Someone broke my heart or my being.
I spent my 33rd birthday there. In “The Base of People from the Fog”, in “Siekierezada”, on the trail to Wide Wierch, in the stream crossing the trail, by the fire.
Perfect.
It felt very good to be back there.
With a folded heart.
