Ania & Dawid – wedding photo session | analog photography

I am starting to think about myself as a photographer of artists. More and more of them turn to me for photo sessions, both private and professional. The wedding of Ania and Dawid was definitely a wedding of artists. Brave, calm and gentle. Against all Polish traditions. The bride wore a floral dress and the groom a pink jacket. Today you will see everything in black and white because I have prepared for you the first part – a session with a medium-format Yashica 635 and Fomapan 100. I took the Yashica with me mainly because of its smaller size and weight than Mamiya’s. I haven’t taken pictures with it in a long time, so I wasn’t sure how this session would turn out. Those photos, from just one negative, are my favourites from that day. And I took almost 200 photos. I gave the couple 140, despite the agreed 100. Beautiful people. I couldn’t stop taking pictures.
