exhibition opening in Zimmermannhaus Kunst & Musik – Brugg | analog photography

A lesson in patience and trust. I have my requirements for scanning negatives that I develop myself. Well… I was in a hurry… I gave the negative to a place where I rarely go and rarely worked well with. It taught me a lesson. I left the scans as I received them. Lots of dust and dirt. And this was the second attempt at scanning. The first time the scans were completely unacceptable.

The event I photographed was very nice. It was the opening of an exhibition at the Zimmermannhaus Kunst und Musik in Brugg, 10 km from Turgi, where I live. The wonderful thing about Switzerland is that even tiny towns are saturated with art and music. I feel very comfortable with this reality. And there’s a lot to photograph!

I’m slowly starting to get back on my feet after a little work-related breakdown. My wings were clipped. But they grow back. Slowly, at their own pace. I sing and photograph.
