“Vain and low-intelligence women” (“Stories about femininity” series) | analog photography

The second part of the story. This time about vanity and lace. Because women are always judged by their appearance. Seemingly the weak sex, but how resilient we must be to our surroundings. Again, a Polish book on the upbringing of girls from 1913 and my photographs.

The quote says: “Forced, pretentious clothing, overloaded with lace, ribbons, etc., is characteristic of vain and low-intelligence women”.
