Tailand – Bangkok | analog photography

Everything and nothing at the same time. These are the thoughts I have when I think back to Thailand. Emptiness with clutter.

I had many ideas to describe this trip. About nature and its beauty, the sights, the people, the flavors. Unfortunately, everything was overshadowed by another dimension of tourism and culture that was foreign to me. Lots of trash, smog, pollution. Somewhere in all this is the beauty of nature for which I came here. But it’s hard to seek it out. Especially when your eyes pinch from the smog and you can’t breathe properly. Sorry Thailand, but you haven’t grown up yet.

The pictures don’t show my complaints. The truth is that I didn’t pull out my camera very often. What you don’t see in the photos is garbage, lots of people and ubiquitous plastic. Sorry Thailand. I’m not doing to you what I should. I am not telling the TRUE story about you.
