It took me five years to get to a place where I can afford the luxury of buying the magazine that features my work. Five years. It’s downright ridiculous that an artist starting out in the market doesn’t have the money to buy a living proof of the value of his own work. It will never stop to amaze me. But it’s still the case today among starting artists. I am in a different place in life. I’ve managed to shake myself up and open up. I am, I create, I make money.
