I’m delighted to invite you to this year’s concerts of the Spirit of Hope gospel choir.

Two of them already filled the halls with music in mid-November — and I’m still buzzing from the energy we shared. Now we’re getting ready for the final two concerts of the season, and I couldn’t be more excited.

This year feels special in many ways. It’s my second season with this wonderful ensemble, and the program has become something truly “ours”: created collectively, shaped by ideas from the whole group, and enriched by the artistry of our guest musicians. We’ll be joined by fantastic jazz artists — drummer Manuel Ramirez, bassist Nicolas Adam, saxophonist Mauro Riemann — as well as our wonderful pianist Christian Nguyễn.

The program we’ve prepared is a joyful blend: traditional gospel songs, pop arrangements, and a few a cappella moments that feel especially intimate. It’s music that lifts, connects, and brings people together — and I can’t wait to share it again.

Our two “home” concerts will take place at the Reformed Church in Nussbaumen on 13 and 14 December. If you’re nearby and in the mood for music that warms the soul, we would love to have you with us.
