ABOUT ME
I am a choir conductor, singer, and music theorist – but above all, I am a creativity enthusiast. I specialise in singing, and ear training, always tailoring each lesson to the unique needs, interests, and goals of my students. My teaching is deeply rooted in empathy and flexibility – I believe in meeting each student where they are and guiding them forward with joy, curiosity, and care.
For me, the most meaningful part of teaching is making music together. Whether it’s improvising, harmonizing, interpreting a favourite song, or experimenting with original ideas – our lessons are a space for exploration, connection, and expression.
Outside of teaching, I conduct The Spirit of Hope Gospel Choir in Nussbaumen, sing soprano in Vocalino Wettingen, write original songs, and explore other creative outlets like analogue photography, embroidery, and painting.
I create – and I love helping others create, too.
MY EXPERIENCE
I’ve been teaching since 2013. Since 2018, I’ve run my own music education studio, where I offer lessons in music theory, singing, and piano. I prepare students for entry to advanced music schools and universities, especially in the fields of ear training, music theory, and singing – but many of my students are passionate amateurs, and I welcome everyone, no matter their level or background.
I began my musical journey at the age of 8, studying violin and piano, before falling in love with singing as a teenager. I hold a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting and Music Education from the Felix Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, Poland (2014), and I completed an additional two-year postgraduate program in Music Theory in 2020.
I specialise in working with singers – both classical and popular – and enjoy supporting songwriters in developing and refining their own music.
What you should know:
- I offer lessons in German, English, and Polish.
- Classes are held on Wednesdays in the music room of the Catholic church in Turgi (just 2 minutes from the train station).
- The first trial lesson is free.
