patterns in stillness is a series of photographs that became a quiet meditation. The word “pattern” is sometimes used to describe minimalism in music—a style I deeply love and the truest inspiration behind this work.

Each image seemed to unfold on its own, guided by intuition and the music playing in the background. These are analogue photographs, printed on watercolor paper and hand-embroidered—some in black and white, others in colour. They capture places scattered across the world, sometimes close to home, sometimes very far away. Every piece is the result of hours spent in quiet reflection on rhythm, repetition, and tone.
