Dear friends,

At the end of May, we warmly invite you to a special event: the concert Ad Fontes with Vocalino Wettingen. This program offers a first glimpse into Monteverdi’s Marienvesper, which we plan to perform in full this autumn as the opening of the 12th Mendelssohn Festival in Aarau. Alongside selected movements from the Vespers, the May concerts will also feature a cappella works – many of them new to our repertoire.

This project is particularly close to my heart, as it marks my first collaboration with the ensemble not only as a soprano, but also as assistant conductor and vocal coach. It has been a joy to work with the choir on shaping our sound, refining vocal technique, and developing a shared interpretation of the program. I am truly excited to share the results with you.

The concert will be conducted by David Rossel, with Lysiane Salzmann on continuo.
